Multiples in Nature

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING!!!

**This contest is sponsored by the Go Take a Hike Photography Group; any images submitted should represent things that one may find out on the trail, in a natural setting – unless contest rules specifically allow exceptions.**

Show us a photo where the subject is displayed in multiples, following these rules:


1. Photography Only. No post-processing digital alterations other than basic edits and black and white conversions, and no digital painting, mixed media, selective color, false backgrounds, added graphics or text allowed. No drone photography, aerial photography or trail camera shots allowed.


2. There must be MANY of your subjects in your images - at least 20 of whatever you are showing us! Your subjects must be LIVING and WILD. Show us a large flock of birds, a whole herd of animals, a swarm of insects, etc. If you choose to submit trees or leaves, the image must be cropped closer-in and not a broad landscape of a forest – that’s too easy. If you choose wildflowers, the image must be cropped closer-in on a clump of flowers and not a broad landscape of a whole field of flowers – AND, you MUST identify your flowers as WILD flowers. See contest logo and description for an example.


3. Your images must be captured in a natural environment – ABSOLUTELY NO SHOTS TAKEN IN A YARD or ANY KIND OF GARDEN will be allowed. Pets, people, or man-made objects of any kind are NOT allowed. Shots taken in neighborhoods, marinas, zoos, or any built-up areas are NOT allowed.


4. As always, there is ABSOLUTELY NO VOTER SOLICITATION ALLOWED in any Go Take a Hike Photo Group contest. Please allow your images to speak for themselves! Also, no position-bumping. If you submit images, then leave them where they are. Pulling and resubmitting to get your images to the front will result in your images being removed.



I reserve the right to remove any photos which do not meet the contest parameters. I look forward to seeing everybody’s work!

Each participant may submit 2 images.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
