This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

George Salter is a Rhode Island based photographer specializing in street portraiture. He has traveled the world in search of interesting faces that tell universal truths about life. He has mastered the techniques of Chiaroscuro photography, borrowing from the great artists of the Renaissance. Often Chiaroscuro images are created in a studio with elaborate lighting, however Salter achieves his results in the street using natural lighting.
